How To Use Chatgpt For Customer Support?

ChatGPT can not only be used for summarizing issues and keeping a memory of past issues, a special feature of ChatGPT made by OpenAI. If you don’t want previous issues to hinder you, you can simply create a new chat.

ChatGPT also can take specific prompts and provide workable solutions to not only customer grievances (with the AI Chatbot) but also the business owner which can be used like this as shown.

Here, this snippet of prompts provides the solution for creating a Flask application, an end-to-end connection to a client and server.

You can make it more personalized by querying specific prompts to ChatGPT and seeing the updated results.

In this way, you can use ChatGPT as a tutorial guide for various processes. Let’s look at some other ways in which ChatGPT can be useful for customer support below.

1. Initial Inquiry Handling

ChatGPT can be used to get an initial headstart on user interaction. We know that as the number of users increases, it is impossible to handle all of them with just human managers trying to read all the previous text messages and trying to get an idea with just the vague descriptions from the users.

In this case, this is an example of a delivery app chatbot where ChatGPT can be integrated for near-human interaction. With pre-defined prompts, it makes it easier for bots to respond.

This comes with a caveat though, for some complex problems, it will be difficult for bots to respond to custom messages from users. In this case, you’ll need some managers on hand to handle this. Hence, you cannot be dependent on AI-based chatbots.

From this, we can find that ChatGPT can be used to create AI-based chatbots to handle initial inquiries. This is used by almost every business these days due to its resourcefulness and also to store these interactions as training data to optimize these chatbots.

Similarly, WorknetGPT provides support for many business sites such as Slack with their latest technology which has come out, called Zendesk. If you want to start your business and need assistance to support your business, you can provide your business e-mail and get a free demo trial for 14 days. 2. Escalation Support

Chatbots powered by ChatGPT, with the help of NLP and LLM (Large Language Models), have the express ability to mimic human interactions which can work when dealing with irate customers who will escalate situations in a fit of rage or try to unsubscribe from your establishment due to various reasons.

One such example of human-like interaction by ChatGPT.

With WorknetGPT and Zendesk, you can analyze users’ texts with your chats and predict whether the user will unsubscribe from your business. This has been researched extensively and comes under the umbrella of churn prediction. ChatGPT’s ability to parse through large amounts of text almost instantaneously, and perform churn prediction will help you change your approach for such cases. This will help you make choices to de-escalate such situations and retain customer.

3. Knowledge Base Management

As mentioned in earlier parts, ChatGPT uses the concepts of LLM and NLP to understand and respond to human text. It has the ability to read through and summarize past texts and text histories and store these interactions in its knowledge bank. This can be used to further improve the chatbots and the LLMs that they run in. Zendesk with ChatGPT integration works by further splitting issues into different tags or features for your convenience. With this knowledge base, it can assign tickets to any user interaction with your business which will help in categorising the problem. You can learn more about Knowledge base management.

What Are The Benefits Of Using Chatgpt In Customer Support?

There are ample reasons why ChatGPT is very beneficial for both business and customer support. But, most of it boils down to fewer resources used, high accuracy and increased ability to scale the business.

Let’s see some ways in which Zendesk integrated with ChatGPT will be beneficial to your business’s customer support system.

1. 24/7 Availability And Instant Responses

This not only has the advantage of enabling your business to tap an international marketplace but also makes your business completely virtual/remote access, which allows for easy scalability of your applications should your business reach a wider audience.

2. Sentiment Analysis And Proactive Support

One of the key features of NLP and its extensive research is for computers and business owners to analyze the sentiments of their owners, mainly to help with proactive help article suggestions.

3. Enhancing Customer Satisfaction And Loyalty

For every brand and business, appealing to a large customer base is important. But, what is more important is to retain a dedicated customer base. The main reason customers remain loyal to a specific brand may not be due to the positive interactions with the business in itself. While customer support is very important, one should not integrate with AI completely, as many customers still require that human element, a connection to feel like they’re an integral part of your business’s success.
